·         You should do exercise 30 minutes a day.

  • ·         You should reduce the use of salt and avoid eating foods high in sodium.
  • ·         You shouldn't consume harmful substances like tobacco, alcohol or drugs.
  • ·         You should reduce your intake of saturated fat by avoiding fast food.
  • ·         You should drink two liters of water a day.
  • ·         You should go to the doctor occasionally to make sure you don't have any physical problems.
  • ·         You should have good body hygiene.
  • ·         You should keep enough time to sleep.
  • ·         You should take care of your mental health 
  • ·         You shouldn't spend so much time with technology.

Yes, I have

·         What do you usually do in your daily life to be healthy?

I usually do exercise 5 days a week, 3 of them are because I have Arabic dance's class all Tuesday, Thursday (from 6:30 to 8:00 pm) and Saturdays (from 12:00 to 1:00 pm), obviously I take them by Zoom in my home, but in normal times I usually go to our classroom.  I decide the other days in the week, I usually choose Mondays and Wednesday to exercise, but sometimes if I don’t have time for it, I choose Fridays or Sundays.

Also, I usually eat healthily, is very weird that in my house we eat fast food or in general something that is not prepared at home, we prefer to prepare our meals. For example, for breakfast, I usually eat a piece of fruit, juice or a smoothie and a small portion of some stew, for lunch I usually eat something cooked by my mom, it is always healthy and based on the plate of good eating, and for dinner, I usually eat something light, like a yogurt or a piece of fruit. I don’t usually drink water, but I’m working to change it and trying to drink at least 2 liters of
water a day.

Activity 3


Hi, I'm Alina and I am training in Francisco I. Madero sports center today. Here we can practice swimming, football, tennis, basketball, etc. I like all kinds of sport, but I'm preparing to play volleyball today. My coach is laying the net on the court and taking the balls out and my friends (Ana, Chris, and Eber) and I are warming up to stretch our muscles to avoid any injury.

My coach finished with the net, she is giving each of us a ball now, so we are taking it and starting with the basics strokes right now.

Look! Ana is doing a serie of passes and Eber is giving it back. While Chris and I are practicing low blow over the net. Listen! The coach is blowing the whistle, that means that we can start a small play between us. I'm taking my place in one side of the net with Ana, so Chris and Eber are on the other side. We are playing right now, the scoreboard is marking 8-9, Ana and I are doing our best to get the two points we need to win, OMG I'm so tired, but Look! we did it, we win!

Activity 1- Benefits of sports.




1.- What do you think is positive about practicing sports?

That sport helps the development of our mental and physical health. Also helps to improve your coordination and stamina, in football, for example, encourages concentration spans too. 
Practicing sport gives us a lot of other benefits like developing your body's muscles, the cardiovascular condition; improves agility, breathing, reflexes, reaction times, and take off calories. 

A sport like swimming works the whole body, it improves strength endurance, posture, flexibility, etc. In some cases like chess improve the focus, memory, and ability to analyze.

Sports help us to have a healthy life !!!!



2.-What do you think is negative about practicing sports?


In extreme cases it can cause a deterioration of muscles and joints, accidents can happen that cause fractures or injuries, it is also important to drink water constantly to avoid dehydration.
